Below you will find pricing and dimensions on our Ipe Decking--the very best decking product available on the market today. Ipe is an extremely dense tropical hardwood with tested durability and performance characteristics. It is rated very resistant to attack by decay, fungi and termites by the USDA Forest Products Lab. Ipe will provide many years of service when properly installed, and has been tested and rated fire-resistant without any additional treatment! Ipe left untreated will turn a patina gray. It will maintain its light to dark olive brown color if treated yearly with a UV finish. A green/yellow powder called lapachol is often apparent in the color of the lumber. Ipe is extremely stable, dense, and hard.
Here on Hardwood To Go we offer a large range of dimensional Ipe decking parts. We also offer pre-grooved Ipe decking to go along with our Ipe Clip Fasteners ©. We offer center grooved Ipe to complement the Ipe Clip Fasteners © and the Ipe Extreme Fasteners© we offer on this site. However, we can off set the groove to accomodate other clip systems not sold on this site.
Our Ipe Decking is sourced from government granted, sustainably harvested concessions.
Please note that on Hardwood To Go we sell only Grade A (Clear) Ipe!!! Experts say an Ipe Deck will last for about 40 years. An Ipe Deck will add beauty and value to any home.
All sizes come S4S (surfaced on four sides) and E4E (eased on four edges). All Ipe is sold as a molded product(not finished). HardwoodToGo strongly recommends pressure washing before installation.
We only sell Ipe Decking in even lengths. Why? Because buying Ipe Decking in even lengths improves your yield or waste factor significantly. If your joists are 16" on center or 24" on center buying even lengths will save you money. Some other sights will make you buy a random length product that includes odd lengths. This will leave you with unusable cut offs and a lot of wasted money.
We do not carry short lengths in Ipe. We carry between 8'-20' Ipe Decking. You'll never have to take 6' or 7' pieces in your order.

Grade A Ipe is always:
· 100% Heartwood
· Virtually Clear-Ordinary seasonal checking will occur
· Allowed only to have a few small, sound, and scattered pin knots
· Free of machining defects on one face
· Good and consistent in color
Grade B Ipe is:
· Inconsistent in color
· Allowed to have sapwood
· Full of small and large pin knots
· Potentially unsound
· Ropey grain in 20% or more of the product
· Allowed to have skip and machining defects on more than one face
