Roubo Workbench Lumber Pack

The classic Roubo style workbench is a beast requiring a lot of lumber. The fastest, easiest way to build it is by using large timbers to prevent all the glue up lamination work. These project packs contain 4 6x6x12' Free of Heart Center (FOHC) Douglas Fir timbers that are kiln dried to 2" deep. The innermost 2" will fluctuate from 12-18% moisture content. The 4 pieces are enough to create at 22" wide by 8' top and the 4 5" square legs.

The stretchers in this design can be made from typical 2x construction material or we offer options to include more timbers to use for stretchers and/or a wider top. This project pack does not include material for a leg vise chop but a dense and hard 8/4 hardwood is recommended for this.
