Hardwood to Go uses UPS for all our orders under 150 lbs. Anything above this and we can either break into multiple shipments or we will contact a common carrier and get back to you with a shipping quote. Over the years we have found that UPS handles lumber the best and is the quickest to process an claims should damage occur during transit. The most reliable way to get your lumber to you without damage starts here on our yard. We carefully package the wood to ensure you get just what is pictured on our web site. Typically your order will be pulled packaged and shipped within 3-5 business days of receipt. Should this change for some reason we will contact you to let you know of the delay.
If you receive a piece of wood that you are unhappy with, please contact us within 7 days of the receipt of the wood and we’ll be happy to talk with you about exchange, credit, or refund of the wood. After this time, all sales are final. Return shipping is at customer’s expense. In case of exchange, we will pay the outgoing shipping. Please note: wood that has been used, cut, glued, or altered in any way will not be accepted for return. Please note: if your order has been pulled or packaged and you cancel your order, it may be subject to a re-stocking fee of 5-20%. This fee will vary depending on the value of your wood.
